This report is the result of a study commissioned by IPCVA to CONICET’s Food Safety Network, which gathered a large number of Argentine scientists and technicians. It can be downloaded by clicking here.
On September 7, 2021, the Argentine Beef Promotion Institute (IPCVA) presented a groundbreaking study in which 45 Argentine scientists assessed the current state of sustainability in the country’s livestock industry, aiming to clarify what is being done well and where improvements are still needed.
Titled “Argentine Beef, Sustainable Beef: Livestock Farming is Not Part of the Problem but Part of the Solution,” the report covers key topics such as water footprint, carbon footprint, greenhouse gas emissions, environmental care, and sustainability as a quality attribute.
